The Pelletizing is a process of agglomeration of finely ground ore by the addition of binders such as bentonite and water to give form of spherical particles ( green pellets ) which are hardened by baking in rotary kilns .The fine ore is agglomerated into small balls with a degree of humidity and a second operation in the " pellet " raw ( " on green " ) are cured by baking in ovens .

OVEN COOLING


Process that occurs in the annular cooler then the pellets fall from the oven. A recuperative cooling and final one takes . The cooling ring has the function of transporting a layer of burnt pellets three cooling zones and is basically a grill that is ring shaped . The pellets fall into the furnace from the loading zone and the cooler are stacked into a hopper and then be leveled litter pellets forming a bed of constant thickness .
